Southwick, AKA ‘The Wick 338’.
Southwick is one of the most legendary tracks on the schedule. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like it, and what’s not to like. Southwick must be one of the best sand tracks in America.. It has some really nice and subtle natural elevation which is used very well.
I had this track ready to release when I started this pack, and since the other rounds grew in quality I had to go back and revisit Southwick with texture, heightmap and object work.
I was really disappointed when Southwick was sidelined in 2020 due to Covid, so this round is based on 2019-2021.
The surface at Southwick is deep sand. This suits the surface type ‘Sand’ in MX Bikes very well. I’ve done my best to build the feeling of sand into the track.
