Jacksonville, AKA ‘WW Ranch’ or ‘Florida National’.
Jacksonville is a typical florida track. It’s a sandy mix, flat with absolutely zero natural elevation, it has some really nice roller sections, some big doubles and flowy long corners. I found this round one of the more difficult to work on, I think due to the lack of reference photography and video, but also becasue it’s plain and difficult to get the details into. Still, I’m happy with how it turned out!
This is based on the 2020 layout that they ran later in the year due to schedule changes.
The surface at Jacksonville is a loose loamy soil and sand mixture, with some sand spots more deeper than others. This didn’t fit either ‘Soft Soil’ or ‘Sand’ as it was too fast or too slow, so a mixture of the two surface typres was used.
