Get ready to take on the ultimate winter racing challenge with this new winter wonderland supercross track. Like my last few tracks, this track has been made to suit a wide range of players, from beginners to professionals. Fortunately, this was made possible by, among other things, the deformation fixes in Beta 18c. This track features a thin layer of soft soil which deforms into soil and eventually digs down to compact soil. This means that in Beta 18c the track will deform from a flat, groomed, SX track to a rough, hardpacked track for professionals. If you think the track is too flat and boring, try increasing the deformation multiplier!

Experience the thrill of racing through a winter wonderland. As you navigate the rhythmsections, you’ll be treated to animated falling snow. But be careful as you ride – the snow on the side of the track affect your traction and handling. Test your skills as you navigate through this snowy terrain, enhanced by an advanced hydraulic erosion simulation to give you the best possible quality.

Immerse yourself in the experience with ambient snowstorm sounds, both on the track and in the pits. If you prefer a quieter experience, simply uncheck the ‘Pit Environment Sounds’ option in the settings under the Misc tab. See if you have what it takes to come out on top in this challenging and immersive racing experience.

Your purchase includes a playable .PKZ, and a server .PKZ (the server .PKZ is used for hosting dedicated servers only). Only put one of the .PKZ files in your mods folder at a time. If you get a plain black map in-game or the mod doesn’t show in your track list, you installed it incorrectly or mistyped your GUID in your shop’s profile.

Other things to note

I did experiment with the patches of snow on the track affecting the traction and handling, but when testing the track I noticed the deform got real choppy with it so I took that out. Now the only snow that affects traction and handling is the snow offtrack. This simply resulted in a way better deforming track, and ultimately a more fun experience.

As mentioned previously, the track features ambient snowstorm sounds, both on the track and in the pits. If you prefer a quieter experience, simply uncheck the ‘Pit Environment Sounds’ option in the settings under the Misc tab.

I tried to add as much detail to the track as possible while keeping the performance high. If the track does lag for you, I recommend you first try turning on vsync, and as a second measure you can lower your screen resolution.
